Positive Puppy Training

Puppy Training Classes with an experienced behaviourist four private 1-1 training sessions lasting 8 hours in total, and is for dogs that are up to 6 months of age. 

Puppy Training Classes in Wigan and throughout the North West

Getting a new puppy is an exciting time for any family, however with a puppy comes a lot of work and responsibility. This is why puppy training is important to ensure your new addition to the family is  properly trained from a young age.

Our Positive Puppy training Classes are aimed at enhancing your puppy’s early development stages with bundles of positive reinforcement and fun, led by a specialist Wigan dog trainer. 

You and your puppy will learn essential skills and exercises that will shape your communication skills, relationship and your future. You will receive guidance on the “do’s” and “don’ts” of dog ownership as well as getting the basic elements right, such as toilet training and feeding. Sessions are normally one week apart.

The commands taught in the package are:

• Release – simple but effective, your pup needs to know when an exercise is over
• Recall – your pup will come to you with this command
• Turn – your pup will turn and face you with this command
• With me – your pup will understand there has been a change of direction with this command
• Sit – your pup will sit and learn to hold position
• Down – your pup will lie down and learn to hold position
• Loose lead walking – you will learn how to walk your pup without any lead pulling
• Place – your pup will learn to stay in a given area for an extended period of time
• Leave – your pup will learn to let go of objects on command
• Stay – your pup will learn to not move from the place they are at

I can hold private, puppy training classes in Wigan at my specialist facility but I can also travel throughout the North West to teach sessions in and around your home. Training services are also available for older dogs.
